Cara Hammond
The Old Red Bus Station - Stage 2
“soulful pop with hints of folk”
Having recently released her third EP, Leeds based Cara Hammond will be bringing poignant pop to Oxjam Leeds. A singer songwriter, originally from North Wales, she’s a regular on the Leeds circuit having played at Oporto, Nation of Shopkeepers and the Belgrave, as well as performing in venues across the UK including the Underbelly, London.
Not only that, Cara has supported Charlotte Church twice and performed live on BBC Leeds, with tracks being played on BBC Leeds Introducing and BBC Wales Introducing.
Cara’s all about soulful pop with hints of folk and influences from Lianne La Havas, Amy Winehouse, Andreya Triana, Adele and Carole King. If that’s right up your street then look her up at Oxjam this year.
